- Gold Monetisation scheme is another initiative towards enhanced financial investments in India. Present article provides information about the scheme, various guidelines issued by government and issues involved in its implementation. This article has been written after gathering information from sources like newspapers and government website. Country like Turkey has successfully implemented the scheme. Now government has come up with the improved version of gold deposit scheme which is commendable. But its various stakeholders should keep in mind the challenges mentioned here and take remedial steps for best possible outcomes.
