This paper studies the potential of Alternative tourism in the tribal areas of Himachal Pradesh. Alternate tourism consists of many types of tourism such as rural tourism, agri tourism, wildlife tourism, scenic tourism pro poor tourism, eco tourism etc. The data was collected from the tourists both domestic and foreigners visiting the triba; areas of Himachal Pradesh and then carefully analysed.
