The present study was carried out among Arts and Science stream students pursuing higher education in Kumaun University Soban Singh Jeena Campus, Almora Uttarakhand (India). A total of 100 students were selected for questionnaire consisted of statements regarding cause, impact and mitigation of climate change. The result reveals that Students belongs to science stream have more climate change awareness as compared to students belongs to Arts stream. In addition to this newspaper was emerged as a primary source of information regarding climate change followed by education community. Further more, the major source of information for Arts students was newspaper, where as education community was a major source of information for students belongs to science stream.
