IMPACT OF TWELVE WEEKS SELECTED YOGASANA TRAINING ON POSTURAL DEFORMITIES OF HIGH SCHOOL BOYS STUDENTS

Posture is an index of personality and good habits help to develop and maintain good posture, posture is also an aspect of physical fitness. The yoga posture or asana help us to achieve not only good posture and it also controls the stress and develops the concentration.
In the present study investigator is conducted experimental study on 200 boy’s students of the different schools of Gulbarga division. Samples were divided into two equal groups as experimental and control groups. Twelve weeks yogasana training of selected yogasana is administered on experimental group and no training is given for the control group. It is concluded that experimental group significantly shown improvement in postural deformities as compared to control group and also yoga training is found to be useful to some extent to improve concentration, emotional fitness. Further students also developed their coping ability with the mental stress.
