When the investors are investing in the Securities market it is said that, they are emotional rather than rational in most of the occasions. The dynamics of the investment process, culture, and investment analysis can significantly improve the decision-making process, resulting in better investment performance and satisfaction. To gauge the investors decision making process it is essential to study the profile of the investors. The paper is structured in such a way to study the factors influencing the investment decision in portfolio construction the relationship between demographic profile and the factors influencing investment decision in portfolio construction.
