Abstract

This article is based on survey conducted among 50 school going boys and girls about their reading habits, with each category being equally represented. The responses derived from it have been examined under the theoretical lens of social construction of gender, which speaks of the differences between boys and girls not only in their reading habits but also as far as their aspirations and fantasies are concerned.
