MANAGING CAREER ASPIRATIONS OF GENERATION Y - A KEY TO BUSINESS EXCELLENCE
Abstract
Generation Y, also called as Generation Next or Millennials, refers to a generation born post 1980s, having a different set of personality characteristics, values, behaviours, expectations and perspectives. The earliest references concerning this generation can be found in an editorial of Advertising Age (1) as well as report of Pirie and Worcester (2). Since then, a large number of research literatures and reports have been generated on different aspects of this generation (3-7,13,14,16,19 and 20).In general, media has presented
