The present study aimed to identify the effective educational tools and ways of encouraging the use of information and communication technology. Questioners were distributed among teachers from various faculties of different colleges asking their use and potential tools for modern teaching methods. Present study revealed that teachers and students of pure science are more efficient in use of the internet technology than those of the social science subject. The study also showed that teachers of the sciences subject have a chance to allow their students to explore and experience the world in a new virtual way. Overall, we also observed that there is a need for development programmes to be conducted, which can give hands on experience to the teachers, to make the teaching learning experience more enjoyable. - educational, social, developmentReferences
