Abstract

The term ‘Population distribution’ includes a discussion of the relation of population to physical resources, the carrying capacity of land, optimum population, population pressure, and population trends toward increased agglomeration and urbanization with increasing technological complexity, and the intra-regional and inter regional inter-dependence that develops as a population distributes itself to exploit its environment.
