Abstract

Labourers are the key essentials to maintain the economic equilibrium. They play the pivotal role to upgrades the productions system of the Country. The concept of migrant workers are not the new one, it starts from pre- independence period or during the British regime. The migrant workers are engaged in the organized and un-organized sectors as well. They have faces so many problems in the work places. Inspite of so many legislation are in force, their rights are violated. The reasons for violation of their rights are lack of awareness. Besides the national legislations there are also so many international framework are to protect the rights of the migrant workers. The present study aims to make aware about rights of the migrant workers. We cannot ignore about the existence of migrants workers, even we cannot deny their human rights. So migrant workers should be motivated and unite themselves to protest against the exploitation by the employers in the work place. More and more awareness about their right may reduce the exploitation in the work place.
