Information Communication Technology (ICT) which covers all telephone, wireless and computer technology is growing rapidly today. This has accelerated in the economic globalization. ICT in rural development, if implemented effectively, can play an important role by reducing poverty and making the rural people more information rich. This paper is an review of literatures on ICT in rural development.
