Abstract

Burnout is a psychological term that refers to the continuous and long term exertion. Burnout normally leads to gradual loss of interest. In simple terms, the term refers to exhaustion. Organizational burnout refers to the added pressure and exertion at work place working environment. Now a day, every organization strives for excellence and sustaining in the competitive world that leads to high level of expectation from employees. The organizational objectives anchoring towards long term durability, wealth maximization, earning high profits for the same reasons. And to achieve these objectives employees feel overloaded for which they are also being paid good amount of compensation. Employees are also working to earn and live high standard of living, for which they are being working day and night and at the end of any project they feel exhausted which results in occupational burnout. So it is the responsibility of Human resource department to manage the burnout issues related to employees with effective manpower planning.
