A Better Healthcare System Offers Quality Services To All People, When And Where They Need Them. That Requires A Robust Financing Structure, A Highly Trained And Sufficiently Paid Manpower, Reliable Information On Which To Base Decisions And Policies, Facilities Maintained Effectively And Logistics To Provide Standard Technologies And Medicines.
Health Policy Refers To Decisions, Actions, And Plans That Are Handled To Reach Particular Healthcare Goals Within A Society. An Explicit Health Policy Can Accomplish Various Deeds - It Defines A Vision For The Future Which In Turn Helps To Establish Targets And Points Of Referral For The Small And Medium Terms. It Outlines Priorities, Consensus And Informs People And Builds The Expected Roles Of Different Groups. Although Government Introduced Several Beneficial Health Insurance Policies For The People In Various Working Sectors (Formal And Informal), Unemployed And For People Below Poverty Line, Only 17% Of Population Has Health Insurance Cover. In That Too People Are Choosing Private Health Insurance Schemes Over Public Health Insurance. The Reason For That Is Lack Facilities And Poor Quality Of Service At Government Hospitals. This Paper Analyses The Various Schemes Available In Public And Private Health Insurance Sectors.
