आदिवासी जनसंख्या में प्रजननता का स्तर: सिवनी जिले के विषेष संदर्भ में
Abstract
यद्यपि सिवनी जिला म.प्र. राज्य का एक पिछड़ा जिला है किन्तु प्रजनना की दृष्टि से जिले का स्थान स्वर्णित है। राज्य में 1992 के अनुसार सामान्य प्रजनन दर 31.9 प्रति हजार है (प्प्त्ए 1992.93ए च्रू29)। जबकि सिवनी जिले में यह दर 26.63 प्रति हजार है।प्रजननता से तात्पर्य संतान उत्पन्न करने की क्षमता से है, इसे एक जनसंख्या की जन्मदर भी कहा जा सकता है। उर्वरता मुख्यतः स्वस्थ संतान उत्पन्न करने की मानवीय क्षमता से है, यद्यपि उर्वरता मुख्यतः पोषक यौन, व्यवहार, संस्कृति, वृत्ति जीवन स्तर, संवेदना, समय, अर्थशास्त्र इत्यादि कारको पर निर्भर होता है।References
