EMPOWERING WOMEN : A STUDY ON THE ROLE OF UP GOVERNMENT IN MEETING CHALLENGES

Abstract
India is taking huge leaps and strides towards becoming the largest economy of the world and has already become the fastest growing economy surpassing China. This success can largely be attributed to many factors such as technological upheaval, investments, trade boost, economic composition, political stability, demographics and growth outlook. But, there is also a vital component that is often neglected as a contributor to economy and is the key contributor to economic growth- Population. The Indian population is reaching out to quench its thirst for education now more than ever before leading to more intellectual growth of the country raising employ ability, skill development, managing resources and contributing to the economy but juxtaposed it is the breeders of India- our female community that has still not come out of its cocoon. This paper aims to give a conceptual insight into various phases that women education and development has undergone and will give a short introduction of its contribution to the Indian economy. Furthermore suggestions and their implementations have also been covered to allow a complete understanding of the topic.
