ESTIMATION OF BEARING CAPACITY OF SOIL AT SITE, JABALPUR (M.P.)
Keywords:
Abstract
The Bearing capacity of soil at site Jabalpur is determined. The crystalline rocks are present in layer within the alluvial plain. These are belongs to Mahakoshal group of rock lower to middle Proterozoic. Remediation of Chromium contaminated clays has been a difficult task due to the complex geochemistry of chromium. Chromium exists either as an anion or a cation in the soils depending on the pH and redox conditions. This study showed that a detailed understanding of the geochemistry of chromium is critical for the design of the electrokinetic remedial systems. The HPx reactive transport codes were developed to simulate flow and transport processes in variably-saturated porous media subject to a variety of low-temperature geochemical processes.
