Abstract
The study of flexion creases has been going on and has been presented in scientific reviews since the last century. The status of ethnic variation in palmar flexion creases may be better appreciated in creases formulations. Like several other human traits palmar flexion creases may effectively been applied in the study of human variability. There are ample evidences is now available to show that creases in general like other morphological traits play an important roll in the study of human variation, forensic investigation and human genetics.
Here an attempt is made to study of ethnic variation of Longitudinal flexion creases of palm among the Kacchi and Gond populations of Sagar district, (MP), India. Through the Longitudinal flexion creases formulation, the method is prescribed by Pandey and Sharma (2015), is considered. The bases of study are 150 males and 150 female unrelated individuals of each population. The result related to longitudinal flexion creases shows significant ethnic variation.References
