Abstract

Aloe vera plants have immense medicinal values and culturally important for traditional medicines and industrial purposes and are easily available. The leaf surface of Aloe vera is normally colonized by a variety of microorganisms which shows parasitic to mutualistic forms. A survey was conducted at different sites of Jabalpur and several fungal species were isolated from Aloe vera. Among them Fusarium sp.,Trichoderma sp.,Alternaria sp.,Aspergillus sp., are the most frequent species isolated during the survey.
