Abstract

It also known that a lot of detail information on fishes of India are available through the effort of Z.S.I., N.B.F.G.R. and many other organization not much elaborate information on ornamental fishes is available. This present study “Biodiversity and Catch Composition of Ornamental Fish Fauna Inhabiting Upper Lake of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh” is aimed at making categorized and compressive list of fishes, to identify the native Ornamental and commercially important wild fish.
1. To study the biodiversity of ornamental valuable fishes.
2. To enhance the rural people income who were depends on fishery.
3. To enhance the “Market Trade” of ornamental fishes
4. To collect the data for further research work.
