To study the Effect of Covid-19 Outbreak concerns, fear, and nervousness in Dental Patients

The outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic has been spread worldwide affecting economy badly and creating global health crises. It has become the real challenge for the patient to visit to health professionals place or clinic for regular check-ups /treatment. The present study is an attempt to find out the impact of coronavirus pandemic on the level of anxiety in dental patients. The people who were suffering from dental problems were considered as the respondents of the study. Out of 450 responses, the sample size of 412 respondents was valid. Besides, secondary source of information, data was gathered through primary source by designing structured questionnaire circulated through social media sites with the help of Google form. Descriptive statistics revealed the basic information about gender, their occupation, use of sanitizer and mask, maintaining social distancing and any medicine taken by them. Hypotheses were tested by adopting chi square association test, t-test and ANOVA. It was concluded that both male and female are concerned about COVID 19 in general but they preferred to visit to dental clinic for treatment in order to avoid any delay.References
