Transport Study, Radisson Square Indore, Replacement of Traffic Signals, Introducing new variety of intersection, Volume to capacity Ratio, Benefit by Cost Ratio, Economically feasible or not?Abstract
Through this technical paper, we are trying to prove the Economical feasibility of a new type of roadway intersection, which will be possible with very little investment and the benefits of post-construction will be very high. "Radisson Square", the busiest intersection of Indore city, has been selected by us to test the economical feasibility of this a new type of roadway intersection. After doing Delay study at selected location converted that calculated delay time into cost in rupees as per IRC & MORT&H which is assumed as losses in present condition after calculating Benefit to Cost Ratio we try to prove the economical feasibility of this “A new type of roadway intersection”.References
