Education is a process of socialization. It provides the necessary skills tomeet the demands of modern life. Teaching is one of the main components and role of
teacher as a facilitator provide clues to student. The main objective to provide student
centered holistic education that will enable its students to meet the challenges of the new
millennium, while being rooted firmly in secular Indian values and culture, It helps to take
well informed decisions and to interact effectively with people from different cultures. It also
helps to grow one?s confidence level so that they could develop into well informed, confident
global citizens. The present study aimed to investigate effective teaching techniques in higher
education based on the experiences of professors in the world and local professors of
university.
