ART AND LITERATURE OF THE GREEN WORLD
Keywords:

Literature and painting are responses to significant social events of theethnological construction of an era. As an art form, literature is a voice of human feelings and
thought while a painting illustrates through lines and colours. An artist is meant to share his
understanding, observations and experiences. He, whether writes, composes a song, creates a
film, writes a story or fills the canvas with colours, forms his relationship with the world he
experienced around and it reflects in his artistic creation. At present this world is surrounded
by the landscape of a deserted earth and it sure is not the experience of an artist only but
every human being on Earth. The present paper is looking at the connection and comparison
between painting and literature. How the paintings and literature have been the abode of the
green world? is the focal discussion of this paper. This paper is an effort to study the history
ofthe evolution of painting and literature and how they complemented each other through
their way of expression and served to teach and delight in the human world. The paper is an
attempt to showcase how from ancient times art is there to make humans aware of his follies
and learn from them.
