Steel fibre is common additives that can improve concrete performance. The aim of study was to measure compressive strengths of concrete of M30 grade with different steel fibre percentages. Concrete specimens with fibre contents of 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 % by weight were tested. Forty concrete mixes prepared. A hydraulic testing machine was used to measure the compressive strength of each block. The maximum average compressive strength was 42.07MPa at 28 days, obtained for a mix of fibre length of 50mm and fibre content of 1.0% by weight and the increase in strength over plain concrete was found to be 40.23%.The result of this study confirmed that the addition of steel fibre has improved the compressive strength of concrete.
