Abstract

In the current era of IT development, the software engineers and other stakeholders are facing lots of competition. Everyone seems to be in a contest of producing the quality software product as early as possible. Meanwhile, they ignore giving proper attention to the actual requirements of users, and as a result, cases of software failures come into existence. Therefore, requirement management became very necessary step of the quality and most important phase of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the last and most concerned step of this phase is requirements management. In this research study, we have studied about the importance of requirements management in every single step of the SDLC. The research work also includes designing a model for requirements management in order to develop quality software. During this research study, the incorporation of some security issues is added to the proposed requirements management model. In this present study, the projected model enables the software developers to develop quality software in a more secure manner.
