EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC THOUGHTS OF ACHARYA PRAFULLA CHANDRA ROY AND ACHARYA JAGADISH CHANDRA BOSE – A COMPARATIVE STUDY

Abstract

Roy and Bose were two giant Scientists of Late nineteenth Century of Bengal. They were Renaissance products. Their contribution to our Scientific progress and Educational development during the nineteenth Century became legends. Both showed excellence as teachers and researchers. They were the prides of Indians oppressed under the Colonialist British rule. Both of them saw the eternal world not only from their scientific aspects but also from the aspects of philosophy and artistic views. As a result, their biographies and messages give us the way of complete human life. We all the Bengalees are proud of them. In the age of progression of philosophy their fames and influences surprise us very much.
