Abstract

The chapter makes use  teaching improvement case study to identify both the challenges and the solutions to engaging academics in a research-intensive university with educational professional development. development of essential processes, ideas, theories and tools that are central to organizational development, change management, and the performance improvements that are generally desired for individuals, teams and organizations. Model standards are often used in the development of urriculum, professionaldevelopment, and standards for such entities as school districts, states, professional organizations,and institutions of higher education.
