Abstract

Modern age is the age of science and technology. Science has made various wonderful inventions of technology. Computers have revolutionized the way we work, learn, play, and manage our daily lives. Many people today feel threatened by the rapid proliferation of on-line information resources, new computer programs, and other technological advances. Cyberphobia, or the fear of computers, affects many people. Heredity, genetics, and brain chemistry combine with life-experiences play a major role in the development of phobias.  Although an increasing number of teacher are using computers in education, not all of these teachers feel comfortable themselves for computer use. Lack of knowledge about teaching with computers, Lack of access to computers, Lack of confidence in computer skills, Inadequacy for students needs, and the attitude of computer introducer are the main factors contributing to teachers Cyber phobia.
