A STUDY ON CAUSES OF STRESS AND METHODS OF MANAGING STRESS AMONG PARAMEDICAL AND AUXILIARY STAFF AT SELETED HOSPITALS IN VIJAYAWADA

Abstract

Stress management refers to the wide spectrum of techniques and psychotherapies aimed at controlling a person's levels of stress, especially chronic stress, usually for the purpose of improving everyday functioning. The objectives of the research is to identify the sources and causes of stress in Paramedical & Auxiliary staff of selected hospitals in Vijayawada to suggest suitable measures to manage stress. Therefore, the present study intends to investigate the factors that are considered as stressors and to identify and suggest the suitable stress management techniques. Questionnaire has been distributed to sample of 112 staff in selected hospitals of Vijayawada and nearby. The data collected was subjected to analysis using R Studio.  The research found stressors and recommended the stress management techniques to be followed by the staff.
